Casa Santo António
Surrounded by flowers, gardens and banana plants the holidayhome
Santo António is situated in Lugar de Baixo on the westcoast
of Madeira. A pittoresque terrace in front of the home, a murmuring
watercourse, play facilities for children at and around the house
(in a radius of 50 m and down to the main road only village footpaths)
built up a rural idyll with hospitable landlords and neighbours.
In the background you have mountains with an imposing waterfall,
to the other side the wide sea - its beach to reach within two minutes'

Casas
Típicas
In
the southwest of Madeira you may find on 400 mtrs above sea level
some tastefully cared holiday facilities gathering five small homes,
a swimming pool and flowering gardens. The constructions of the
holiday homes are modelled on the tradtional rural architecture.
Thus the name of the facilities means: tipical houses of the island
of Madeira. Originally the deeply down inclined roofs of simple
farm houses were thatch covered: with Casas Tipicas the tile substituted
the thatch. As well in the interior of the holiday homes everything
is different.
